Rule s:

  • Hot seat, taking turns with mouse to make moves.
  • Your pawn starts on a tile showing  number of moves your pawn MUST make.
    •  The first move of the game is special- you can move 1 to 4 spaces, choosing when to stop.
  • Pawns can move left/right/up/down 1 space at a time (like a rook with 1 space range).
  • Pawns can also wrap around the board when moving (e.g. the leftmost and rightmost tiles are "adjacent"). Think PacMan map edges.
  • You can only step on each tile once during your move.
  • The tile you started from will fall and cannot be moved across in future.
  • You can move across tiles with the opponent pawn, but you cannot end your movement on the same tile.

Summary:

"Collapsi is an abstract game that uses a regular deck of cards and anything available for pawns. Move around the board and trap your opponent. Movement is determined by the number on your starting card. You must be able to move that number of spaces in order to complete your turn. Like in old school arcade games, you may wrap your piece around rows or columns. Starting cards collapse and the board shrinks as the game progresses. Be the last player able to move and win!"

Orgin:

Collapsi was invented by 'Riffle Shuffle and Roll' on youtube, watch the rules here.
